Comanche Park
Comanche Park is Fort Hood’s (GHQ) main recreational facility with over 120 acres of green space, a lake, wildlife and picnic areas. Comanche Park is home to many recreation activities including golf courses, marinas, lakeside parks, horse trails and more. It also has the facilities for camping and boating.
Comanche Park also features Fort Hood’s Sustainability Center that offers visitors an insight into the way the Army sustains itself environmentally. The center also houses a small visitor’s exhibition about Fort Hood’s environmental history and its current sustainability efforts.

Comanche Park is a beautiful public park located just north of Fort Hood.
